For the purpose of populating its extensive Street View database, Google is meticulously mapping the world, filming vast stretches of urban and rural landscapes. However, the paradox arises in that individuals are prohibited from filming Google's own offices.

In GOOGLY MOOGLY, Frank Theys presents a thought-provoking action-performance that critically engages with this dynamic. The artist embarks on a journey to Google's headquarters in California, USA, to challenge the asymmetry of visibility and surveillance—raising questions about corporate control over public and private spaces.
